Quickly Target Contrast to Fix Your Low Contrast Photos in Photoshop

Sometimes, the sky is overcast, the light is dull, and there is nothing you can do about getting a flat, low contrast photo.

Luckily, there is a selection method, called Saturation Masks, that allows you to add selective contrast and colour to certain parts of your photo. If you have low contrast photos, this video will show you an easy workflow to fix them in Photoshop.

If you’re new to processing photos, or just struggling to get it right, this video will quickly show you how saturation masks work, and how you can use them to help you apply curves and other adjustment layers to selectively fix contrast.
