Seascape Photography – Using the Black Card by Lynne Luxon-Jones

Finding new locations is always fun when you roll up in the dark, in the pouring rain with the windy gusting & you haven’t really got the foggiest what you’re going to find the next morning …it’s still fun . When the weather forecasters get it right & clear skies greet you in the morning the temptation is , for me at least , to roll over & go back to sleep 😂 I decided to use this trip as a scouting mission as the location has plenty of possibilities with the right sky & also to try my hand at the Black Card Technique. I’ve used it once before , many years ago & the Variable ND filter gave me the perfect excuse to try it again. Plus I wanted to see how the filter performed in the open. – Lynne Luxon-Jones
